Vote-2005 forum
There is a new forum site (phpbb based) called Vote-2005 UK Election Prediction which is currently seeing a lot of activity.
(Thanks to Stuart Dickson for recommending this one.)

Simon,
This forum is being swamped by bogus comments by Tories posing as "guests". I would stick a massive health warning on the entire forum. It is run by Tories, moderated by Conservative Cllr Iain Linley from Salford near Manchester. Worryingly the moderator is not announcing that he is even the moderator when he intervenes, let alone disclosing that he is a Tory councillor from outwith Scotland. He simply signs himself as "Iain"!! I note that I am the only person he has so far accused of "bias". I nearly fell off my stool at the cheek of the man.

Right. I thought that was only happening on Edinburgh South. There don't seem to be any Labour people around on the site. In any case the line between prediction and advocacy is less than clear.
Is there some kind of central topic where they can be challenged, I wonder? Perhaps ask for Scottish moderators for Scotland?

As the owner and admin of the site I take these comments quite seriously as I do not want to be accused of any bias!
I have appointed a Scotland-based moderator who has political views I consider abhorrent! :-)

Welcome to the Skakagrall, Dan!
Congratulations on the success of your site, and for having the generosity to offer me a moderatorship on Vote 2005, which I am happy to accept.
As Stuart has indicated, there is an issue with anonymous posters which will need to be addressed at some stage.
Are you a Tory, I wonder? Some of you are excellent people, inspite of everthing!
